Countryside Tour
20 kilometers - approx. 3 hours
Friday - Monday: 10.00am & 2.00pm
€ 37,50 per person
Feel like a local, while cruising through the Dutch countryside on our way to the next historical town. A good mix of cycling and fun history. The tour starts in farmers market town Woerden. From there we pedal through the countryside to the quaint old towns of Oudewater, Montfoort and Linschoten. On our way we'll stop for some refreshments (not included in the tour price).
Food Tour
25 kilometers - approx. 4 hours
Friday - Monday: 10.00am & 2.00pm
€ 50,00 per person
Get a taste of the Dutch countryside with our food tour. This bike tour is definitely the best of both worlds.....exploring the Dutch countryside and its cute little towns while indulging in local treats. Depending on the season and availability of the producers we'll visit a cheese farm, an organic fruit & vegetable garden and a cherry orchard. And off course tasting is part of the fun (included in the tour price).
Practical info
Level. Our bike tours are suitable for all fitness levels. The only requirement is that you know how to ride a bike. The high quality (regular) bikes allow you to cruise comfortably through the Dutch landscape. You’ll be with a small group, so you set the pace. Our tours let you take your time to take beautiful pictures, and we can give the places and subjects you’re interested in more attention.
Children. We welcome kids on our tours. This is the first year we're running the bike tours and therefore we don't have an extensive assortment of child seats and kids bikes. So please contact us, to see if we can make it happen for your family.
Helmets. In The Netherlands it's not common to cycle with a helmet, but if it makes you more comforable we have them available upon request.
Rain. Yes, we do get some rain in the Netherlands. During the bike tour we do our best to navigate around it. Our tours run rain or shine. We have ponchos just in case. Only in rare occasions, like thunderstorms, we will cancel the tour. We will inform you asap if this is the case.
BYO. If you bring your own bike you'll receive a discount of € 9.
Language. Our tours are guided in English and Dutch.
Payment. Please pay the tour guide in cash after the tour. For Dutch clients, we can also send a Tikkie.
